Prohibits taking wolves or using cable snares with diameter greater than 3/32 inch or leg-hold traps with jaw spread greater than 5 inches in 26 specified townships adjacent to Denali National Park and Preserve using the Fairbanks Meridian grid system.

Allows the Department of Fish and Game to take or authorize taking of wolves that present a danger to the health or safety of local residents as an exception to the prohibition.

Establishes violation of the prohibition as a class A misdemeanor punishable under AS 12.55.

Applies to areas in townships 11-17 South and ranges 5-11 West, with some areas excluding land within Denali National Park and Preserve itself.
