Department of Military and Veterans' Affairs shall accept nominations from veterans' organizations to name portions of roads or bridges for individual veterans.

Department of Military and Veterans' Affairs submits list of nominations to legislative leadership on the first day of each legislative session.

Legislature may commend nominees and Department of Transportation and Public Facilities may designate road or bridge portions for commended veterans.

Department of Transportation and Public Facilities may only post and maintain signs if funded entirely by gifts, donations, or grants; no state funding allowed.

"Veteran" defined as a person who served in uniformed services and received an honorable discharge.
