Manufacturers must provide standard written warranties through dealers or distributors to ultimate purchasers, and remain liable for any contractor's compliance with warranty obligations.

Dealers and distributors must deliver operation manuals, disclose all warranty terms and disclaimers, provide warranty service according to manufacturer specifications, and submit reimbursement claims using manufacturer-established procedures.

Manufacturers must reimburse dealers and distributors for required warranty services at rates no less than the dealer's customary rates, manufacturer's flat rate, or industry standard rates, plus minimum one-hour administration fee per claim and travel costs.

If a product cannot be repaired within a reasonable number of attempts (presumed after 3 repairs or 30+ days out of service), the manufacturer must replace it with a comparable new product or refund the full purchase price minus depreciation calculated over seven years.

Applies to equipment, tools, and motor vehicles designed for construction, mining, forestry, and similar industrial projects, as well as their parts and accessories, for distributorship agreements entered after the act's effective date.
