Amends AS 12.62.160 to prohibit the Department of Public Safety from releasing criminal records for defendants convicted under AS 11.71.060 for possession of less than one ounce of a Schedule VIA controlled substance, if the defendant applies on a department form.

Applies only to defendants who were 21 years of age or older at the time of the offense and had all other criminal charges acquitted or dismissed by the prosecuting authority (excluding charges dismissed as part of a plea agreement).

Adds new section AS 22.35.040 to prohibit the Alaska Court System from publishing court records on publicly available websites for defendants meeting the same criteria regarding marijuana possession convictions.

Takes effect 120 days after becoming law.
