• Renames AS 14.30.356 as "Bree's Law" and designates school district programs implementing it as "Bree's Law programs and Bree's Law activities."

• Expands training requirements for marital and family therapy licensees to include awareness of child abuse reporting requirements under AS 47.17.020 and AS 47.17.021.

• Creates AS 47.17.021 establishing free online training curriculum for non-state and non-school district employees required to report child abuse and neglect, including recognition, detection, and reporting procedures.

• Expands school district training obligations to require notice to public and private schools of abuse and neglect reporting training availability and to require volunteer participation in training at no cost.

• Provides civil immunity for disclosure of substantiated sexual abuse allegations or sexual misconduct against school district employees through administrative or judicial proceedings, including plea of nolo contendere.
