Establishes registration requirement for real estate appraisal management companies with the Board of Certified Real Estate Appraisers, effective August 9, 2018.

Department of Commerce shall set registry fees for appraisal management companies based on federal Appraisal Subcommittee national registry fees for each appraiser on the company's panel.

Registered companies must designate a controlling person who is a certified appraiser, maintain surety bonds up to $150,000, require appraisers to comply with Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice, and conduct independent appraisals free from inappropriate influence.

Prohibits registered companies from influencing appraisers through intimidation or coercion, conditioning fees on predetermined opinions, altering reports without consent, or employing appraisers with denied or revoked certifications.

Board may suspend or revoke registration for violations, requires companies to report disciplinary actions and violations to the federal Appraisal Subcommittee, and exempts federally regulated depository institutions and internal company appraisal divisions from registration requirements.
