Requires the Department of Health and Social Services to provide written information to parents or guardians of children who are the subject of a report of harm as soon as practicable after receiving or referring the report.

Information must include geographically indexed material about available public and private agencies offering family support, substance abuse treatment, mental health services, child care, public assistance, tribal health programs, child support services, and language interpretation services.

Department must provide descriptions of services offered by agencies and facilities, including contact information and telephone numbers, plus steps parents or guardians can take to strengthen their families.

Department shall include information on the incidence of domestic violence, child abuse or neglect, and adverse childhood experiences in Alaska, including statistically relevant outcomes and other pertinent family support information.

Effective date is July 1, 2018, applying to all reports of harm received on or after that date.
