AK HB41

Amends AS 24.08.060(a) to allow a group of members of the legislature to introduce bills or resolutions in addition to individual members and committee chairmen.

Adds new subsection (c) allowing bills to be introduced by multiple joint prime sponsors following uniform rules and legislative style manual procedures.

Requires all joint prime sponsors to agree to allow additional joint prime sponsors to be added to a bill.

Permits individual joint prime sponsors to remove their name from a bill while it is in their house of the legislature, in accordance with uniform rules.

Requires agreement of all joint prime sponsors to withdraw a bill introduced under joint prime sponsorship, following procedures in uniform rules.
