HCR 13 Summary

• Dedicates House Finance Committee Room 519 in the Alaska State Capitol to the late Representative Albert "Al" P. Sikkiagruk Adams

• Recognizes Adams' service as sole chair of the House Finance Committee during the 12th-15th Alaska State Legislatures and as a Senate Finance Committee member during the 16th-19th legislatures until his retirement in 2000

• Honors his legislative accomplishments including balanced budgets serving rural and urban areas, reopening Mount Edgecumbe boarding school, increasing school district funding, implementing the power cost equalization program, and funding water and sewer projects in rural areas

• Requires placement of a bronze plaque on or near the committee room door bearing Adams' name and inscription celebrating his legislative achievements and dedication to service

• Directs presentation of a copy of the resolution to Adams' family
