Proposes adding Section 26 to Article I of the Alaska Constitution to permit the legislature and voters to require parental or legal guardian notice and consent before a minor's pregnancy is terminated.

The legislature would implement such requirements through law, and voters could implement through ballot initiative, both subject to U.S. Constitution compliance.

Introduced by Representative LeDoux on February 7, 2018, during the 30th Legislature's second session.

Requires placement of the proposed constitutional amendment before Alaska voters at the next general election in conformity with Article XIII, Section 1 of the Alaska Constitution.
