Reduces compensation for Alaska Commercial Fisheries Entry Commission members from Range 27 to Range 24 of the state salary schedule in AS 39.27.011.

Removes language requiring commission employees to be in the exempt service, allowing them to be employed under normal civil service rules.

Repeals AS 39.25.110(11)(D), which previously exempted commission employees from standard classified service provisions.

Assigns all existing commission staff members to the classified service upon the act's effective date while protecting them from pay reductions due to this reclassification.

Takes effect immediately upon passage.
