Amends AS 29.35.148(b) to permit municipalities to impose a municipal sales tax on transportation network company drivers for trips originating in the municipality using the same tax method as other services.

Allows municipalities to require the transportation network company to collect and pay the municipal sales tax on behalf of transportation network company drivers.

Confirms that municipal traffic ordinances remain applicable to transportation network companies and drivers despite general prohibitions on municipal regulation.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
