Proposes amending the Alaska Constitution to require voter approval by majority vote before establishing a broad-based individual income tax or statewide general sales tax

Modifies Article IX, Section 1 of the Alaska Constitution to add the voter approval requirement to existing taxation provisions

Amendment must be placed before voters at the next general election following passage, in accordance with Article XIII, Section 1 of the Alaska Constitution
