Prohibits employers from using an applicant's past wages or benefits to determine future wages without the applicant's voluntary consent, and prohibits requesting information about an applicant's past wages or benefits.

Requires employers who publicly advertise a position to include the monetary amount or range of salaries to be paid for that position in the advertisement.

Allows employees to inquire about and discuss wages and benefits provided to coworkers and to assist or encourage coworkers to exercise their rights regarding wage discussion.

Amends Alaska's employment discrimination law to change "upon" to "on" regarding bona fide occupational qualifications for employment-related statements and advertisements.

Takes effect July 1, 2020, with provisions applying to contracts made on or after that date and advertisements circulated on or after that date.
