Adds a new aggravating factor at sentencing for offenses specified in AS 11.56.375 when the defendant was under contract, a volunteer, or an employee of the Department of Corrections and committed the offense during their contractual, volunteer, or employment duties.

Allows sentencing courts to impose sentences above the presumptive range when this aggravating factor is proven in accordance with AS 12.55.155(c).

The new factor becomes the 38th aggravating factor listed in Alaska's sentencing guidelines, joining existing factors such as deliberate cruelty, use of dangerous instruments, and targeting vulnerable victims.

Applies only to offenses committed on or after the effective date of July 1, 2020.
