Requires health care insurers offering group or individual market plans in Alaska to provide coverage for benefits delivered through telehealth by licensed health care providers.

Prohibits insurers from requiring prior in-person contact between a health care provider and patient before payment for covered telehealth services.

Defines "health care insurer" to include insurance companies, hospital/medical service corporations, fraternal benefit societies, health maintenance organizations, and other specified plan types under Alaska law.

Defines "telehealth" according to Alaska Statute 47.05.270(e).

Applies to health care insurance plans offered, issued, delivered, or renewed on or after the effective date, which is immediately upon enactment.
