Requires employers to notify employees in writing at time of hiring about workers' compensation death benefits available under AS 23.30.215, using a director-prescribed form that describes compensation types, eligibility, and computations.

Increases permanent partial impairment compensation from $177,000 to $255,506 multiplied by the employee's percentage of permanent impairment of the whole person, payable in a single lump sum without present value discounting.

Requires employers to notify the personal representative of a deceased employee's estate (or specified alternative parties if the representative is unknown) about available death benefits, statute of limitations, and resources for legal counsel and grief counselors.

Establishes that death benefits payable to a child continue until the child reaches 23 years of age, unless extended under AS 23.30.395(8).
