Department of Commerce, Community, and Economic Development shall prepare annual reports describing temporary courtesy licenses issued to nonresident professionals, including application procedures, numbers and types of licenses applied for and issued, and efforts to inform boards and the military community.

Annual reports must be submitted to the Joint Armed Services Committee by March 1 each year.

Department shall consolidate the two most recent annual reports and submit a biennial report to the legislature by March 1 during the first regular session of each legislature, with copies delivered to the senate secretary and chief clerk of the house.

Department shall annually produce and distribute informational materials to each board authorized to issue temporary courtesy licenses to improve their knowledge of the licenses and application process.

Department shall encourage licensing boards to designate a single employee as a point of contact for public information and inquiries related to temporary courtesy licenses for military spouses.
