Amends Article IX, Section 1 of the Alaska Constitution to require voter approval before implementing a broad-based individual income tax or statewide general sales tax.

Any law establishing either tax type must be approved by a majority of votes cast on the proposed law before taking effect.

The constitutional amendment shall be placed before Alaska voters at the next general election following passage, in accordance with Article XIII, Section 1 of the Alaska Constitution.
