Urges the Alaska congressional delegation to repeal 25 U.S.C. 292b, known as the "Stevens rider," which prohibits Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act funds from being used for tribal education in Alaska.

The Stevens rider, enacted in 1983, restricted Bureau of Indian Affairs secondary education funding in Alaska and limited day schools to 10 facilities after June 30, 1984.

Argues that 229 federally recognized tribes in Alaska are discriminatorily excluded from educational programs available to tribes in other states despite having the same federal status.

Cites the successful transformation of Alaska Native tribal health care delivery through the Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act as a model for improving educational outcomes for Native students.

Resolution shall be sent to U.S. Senators Lisa Murkowski and Dan Sullivan, and U.S. Representative Don Young.
