AK HJR2

Reduces the maximum duration of regular legislative sessions from 120 consecutive calendar days to 90 consecutive calendar days.

Allows a regular session to be extended once for up to 10 additional consecutive calendar days with approval of at least two-thirds of each house membership.

Requires the legislature to adopt deadlines for scheduling session work as part of uniform rules of procedure, consistent with the new session length limits.

Establishes a new constitutional transition section specifying the amendment applies beginning with the First Regular Session of the Thirty-Second Legislature and thereafter.

Requires voter approval of the proposed amendments at the next general election in accordance with Article XIII, Section 1 of the Alaska Constitution.
