Alaska State Legislature encourages the President of the United States, United States Congress, and Governor of Alaska to assist the National Park Service in maintaining long-term access to Denali National Park and Preserve via the existing roadway.

Over 600,000 people visit Denali National Park and Preserve annually, including Alaska residents and international visitors, making it vital to the state's tourism economy.

Environmental challenges affecting the road into Denali National Park and Preserve are expected to exceed the National Park Service's ability to maintain the current road alignment in the future.

Copies of the resolution shall be sent to the U.S. President, U.S. Secretary of Transportation, National Park Service Deputy Director, Alaska Governor, Alaska Department of Transportation Commissioner, and Alaska's congressional delegation.
