Recognizes May 2, 2019, as the National Day of Prayer and proclaims it as a state day of prayer in Alaska.

Notes that the National Day of Prayer was established by Congress in 1952 and signed into law by President Harry S. Truman, with President Ronald Reagan designating the first Thursday in May as the observance date in 1988.

States that every U.S. President since 1952 has issued a proclamation designating the first Thursday in May as the National Day of Prayer.

Encourages Alaskans to observe the day in their own way and to join with others in the community in expressing thanks and praying for state communities and leaders.
