Amends AS 33.07.030(g) to expand the authority of pretrial services officers to file complaints and make arrests related to escape charges under AS 11.56.320, 11.56.730, and 11.56.757.

Grants pretrial services officers authority to arrest with or without a warrant any defendant released while awaiting trial if the officer has probable cause to believe the defendant committed an escape offense or violated release conditions.

Authorizes pretrial services officers to request the court issue warrants for any violation of a defendant's release conditions.

Maintains existing officer duties including recommending pretrial diversion, referring defendants for substance abuse screening and treatment, and coordinating with community-based organizations and tribal courts.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment under AS 01.10.070(c).
