Amends AS 23.35.145 to modify benefits vessel owners receive when a fisherman files a claim for benefits under the fishermen's fund and simultaneously files a claim against the vessel owner's protection and indemnity insurance policy

Changes the vessel owner's benefit calculation from 50 percent of the protection and indemnity insurance policy deductible to the full amount of the deductible

Vessel owner benefit is limited to the lesser of the full deductible amount or $5,000, not to exceed the actual loss

Applies when a fisherman pursues both a fishermen's fund claim and a protection and indemnity insurance claim simultaneously
