AK SB65

Amends AS 44.31.020 to add a new duty requiring the Department of Labor and Workforce Development to coordinate and monitor state career and technical education programs.

Coordination must be conducted through a cooperative effort with the Department of Education and Early Development, the University of Alaska, and other entities providing or funding career and technical education programs.

Changes the conjunction in paragraph (7) from "AND" to "and" before the new paragraph (8), making the career and technical education coordination duty an explicit departmental responsibility.

Becomes effective immediately upon enactment under AS 01.10.070(c).
