AK HB150

Provides civil liability immunity to individuals, corporations, nonprofits, partnerships, LLCs, associations, joint ventures, trusts, estates, school districts, educational attendance areas, churches, municipalities, colleges, universities, the Alaska Railroad, public corporations, and state government branches for COVID-19 exposure damages including sickness, death, and economic loss.

Immunity does not apply to COVID-19 exposure resulting from gross negligence, recklessness, or intentional misconduct.

Immunity is in addition to any other immunity from liability provided under state or federal law and does not modify the application of AS 23.30 (workers' compensation).

Applies to COVID-19 exposure occurring on or after the effective date of the act.

Takes effect immediately and is repealed August 31, 2025.
