Department of Labor and Workforce Development shall provide employers with free copies of a legal protections summary published by the victims' advocate.

Employers of peace officers, firefighters, correctional employees, EMTs, paramedics, ambulance attendants, emergency responders, and medical professionals must post the victims' advocate summary in a conspicuous workplace location.

Victims' advocate must publish annually by January 15 a summary of legal rights and protections available to crime victims, including arrest authority, minimum sentencing requirements, and sentence enhancement provisions.

"Employer" definition includes private persons, the state, University of Alaska, Alaska Railroad, and political subdivisions of the state.
