Establishes presumption of compensability for firefighters with nine specific cancers: primary brain cancer, malignant melanoma, leukemia, non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, bladder cancer, ureter cancer, kidney cancer, prostate cancer, and breast cancer.

Requires firefighters to have at least seven years of service in the state, with medical exams upon hire and annually during the first seven years showing no evidence of disease to qualify for the presumption.

For cancer claims, firefighters must demonstrate exposure to a known carcinogen (as defined by the International Agency for Research on Cancer or National Toxicology Program) that is associated with the disabling cancer.

Extends the presumption for up to 60 calendar months following termination of employment, calculated as three months per year of service.

Applies amendments to both the cancer presumption and definition of "firefighter" to claims made on or after the effective date of the Act.
