Requires school districts to provide teachers who are nursing mothers with reasonable break periods to express breast milk for one year from the date of birth of their nursing child.

Mandates school districts provide a private and sanitary place in the workplace, other than a bathroom, for teachers to express breast milk.

School districts are not required to pay teachers for breaks taken to express breast milk, except as may be required by contract.

Exempts school districts with fewer than 50 employees from these requirements if meeting them would cause significant financial hardship relative to the district's resources.

Allows school districts to provide additional accommodations beyond those required by the bill.
