Amends AS 14.07.165(a) to add statewide standards for instruction in social-emotional learning as a duty of the state Board of Education and Early Development.

The Board shall adopt these standards and require governing bodies to implement them consistent with local needs.

Authorizes the Board of Education and Early Development to adopt necessary regulations to implement the changes under the Administrative Procedure Act.

Section 2 of the Act takes effect immediately; all other provisions take effect July 1, 2022.
