Authorizes the veterinary board to adopt a certification process for licensure to practice veterinary medicine in Alaska.

Allows applicants to qualify for veterinary licensure by completing a board-approved certification process instead of requiring completion of the Educational Commission for Foreign Veterinary Graduates program.

Applies the same board-approved certification process flexibility to licensure by credentials for applicants holding valid veterinary licenses in other states, territories, or countries.

Maintains existing requirements for veterinary licensure including passage of national and state examinations, good standing status, and payment of required fees.
