Recreational vehicle park owners are not liable for civil damages to guest property resulting from state or municipal action.

Owners, employees, and officers of private campgrounds are not liable for civil damages resulting from inherent camping risks, including natural hazards, weather, wild animals, water bodies, terrain, fires, and guest negligence.

Immunity does not apply if damages result from gross negligence, recklessness, intentional misconduct, or failure to post conspicuous warning signs (black letters on white background, minimum 72-point font) for known dangerous conditions.

All written contracts with guests and warning signs must include a specific warning notice stating that campground operators are not liable for injuries or deaths resulting from inherent camping risks under AS 09.65.370.

The law applies to contracts entered into on or after the effective date and does not modify the application of Alaska workers' compensation law (AS 23.30).
