Creates a new workplace violence protective order system allowing employers to petition district or superior courts against individuals who committed violence or made threats of violence against the employer or employees.

Permits ex parte (without notice) protective orders for up to 20 days if courts find probable cause of recent violence or threats and necessity to protect workers, with regular orders lasting six months.

Protective orders may prohibit violence and threats, restrict communication with designated employees, require respondents to stay away from the workplace, and impose other court-determined protections.

Adds workplace violence protective order violations to AS 11.56.740 as a crime punishable by up to one year incarceration and up to $25,000 fine, with mandatory arrest provisions for peace officers.

Requires court-issued forms, provides free filing and service fees for workplace violence protective order petitions, and directs the Department of Public Safety to maintain a central registry of all protective orders including workplace violence orders.
