Establishes registration and licensing requirements for professional commercial interior designers in Alaska under the State Board of Registration for Design Professionals.

Renames the "State Board of Registration for Architects, Engineers, and Land Surveyors" to the "State Board of Registration for Design Professionals" and expands the board from 11 to 13 members to include one commercial interior designer.

Requires commercial interior designers to pass the examination administered by the Council for Interior Design Qualification and meet education, training, and experience requirements approved by the board.

Allows persons holding valid commercial interior design certificates from other states or countries to register in Alaska if they meet the board's requirements.

Allows existing commercial interior designers to continue practicing without registration until July 1, 2024, and makes the act effective July 1, 2022.
