Requests the United States Department of Defense to augment public and private funding of the Port of Alaska to support military operations and infrastructure improvements.

Port of Alaska is one of 17 commercial strategic seaports designated by the Department of Defense and serves four major military installations: Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Fort Wainwright, Eielson Air Force Base, and Fort Greely.

Port suffered major infrastructure damage in November 2018 earthquake that exacerbated existing corrosion damage, and planned tariff increases will be inadequate to fund necessary maintenance and replacements.

Port is critical to military operations, providing the only fully operational container and roll-on-roll-off cargo facility handling goods twice weekly and serving as the primary aviation fuel distribution hub for Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson.

Directs copies of the resolution to be sent to the President, Vice President, Speaker of the House, Secretary of Defense, and Alaska's congressional delegation.
