Urges the United States Congress to propose a constitutional amendment limiting the Supreme Court to not more than nine justices.

States that an independent Supreme Court is essential to the system of checks and balances protecting constitutional rights.

Notes that the Supreme Court has maintained nine justices for more than 150 years.

Expresses concern that the President and Congress should not have the ability to undermine Supreme Court independence by increasing the number of justices.

Directs copies of the resolution be sent to federal leadership including the Vice President, Speaker of the House, Senate leadership, and Alaska's congressional delegation.
