Alaska Legislature applies to U.S. Congress to call a convention of states under Article V of the Constitution to propose a constitutional amendment limiting the number of terms for members of the U.S. House of Representatives and U.S. Senate.

This application shall be aggregated with similar applications from other states and counts toward the two-thirds of states required to mandate Congress call a limited constitutional convention on this subject matter only.

The application constitutes a continuing application until at least two-thirds of state legislatures have applied for a similar convention of states.

Alaska Legislature urges the other 49 states to apply to Congress to call a convention of states on this same issue.

Resolution directs copies be sent to federal officials including the President, Vice President, congressional leaders, Alaska's congressional delegation, and presiding officers of all other state legislatures.
