Alaska Legislature requests Congress pass federal legislation allowing individuals qualified to carry concealed handguns in one state to carry them in other states that permit concealed carry.

Specifically encourages Congress to pass the Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act of 2019 (H.R. 38) or the Constitutional Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act of 2019 (S. 69) from the 116th Congress, or similar legislation.

Requests the President sign concealed carry reciprocity legislation into law if Congress passes such a bill.

Notes that 19 states currently provide reciprocity for concealed carry permits and that most states issuing permits require handgun competency courses, fingerprints, and criminal background checks.

Directs copies of the resolution be sent to the President, Vice President, Speaker of the House, and Alaska's congressional delegation.
