SB 165 Summary

• Appropriates $17,278,000 in operating expenditures for fiscal year 2022 (July 1, 2021 - June 30, 2022), including $13,500,000 to the Department of Health for public assistance and Permanent Fund Dividend hold harmless, $1,783,000 to the Alaska Court System, and $1,995,000 to the Legislature for legislator salaries.

• Appropriates $80,661,544 for capital projects including $23,116,000 for cloud migration to the Department of Administration, $750,000 for suicide prevention barriers in corrections, and $54,895,544 for school construction grants for William N. Miller K-12 Memorial School in Napakiak.

• Increases federal COVID-19 relief funding from $20,000,000 to $40,000,000 for the Department of Health and Social Services emergency programs through fiscal year ending June 30, 2025.
