AK SB203

Designates the Alaska marine highway system and portions of the Parks, Glenn, Seward, and Sterling Highways as the Purple Heart Trail, in addition to existing Alaska and Richardson Highways already designated.

Requires the Department of Transportation and Public Facilities to erect and maintain Purple Heart Trail signs on Alaska marine highway vessels and along specified highways at designated locations including Fairbanks, Anchorage, Homer, and points between those cities.

Increases the minimum number of informational pullouts displaying the Purple Heart Medal and trail history from three to six locations along the Purple Heart Trail, selected by the commissioner.

Names the Bragaw Street overcrossing of the Glenn Highway in Mountain View, Anchorage as the Insook Baik Bridge.

Authorizes the Department of Transportation and Public Facilities to accept gifts, donations, and grants from persons or agencies for signage and informational displays for both the Purple Heart Trail and Insook Baik Bridge, and allows creation of signs as funding becomes available through appropriation or donation.
