Requires University of Alaska online course schedules to identify all required course materials for each course.

Mandates course descriptions clearly indicate which required materials are zero-cost resources and which are low-cost resources to the extent practicable.

Requires course schedule descriptions to disclose the amount of any automatic fees charged for required course materials at registration.

Establishes a searchable function on the University of Alaska online course schedule to identify courses where all required materials are zero-cost or low-cost resources.

Defines low-cost resources as materials priced at no more than four times the Alaska hourly minimum wage; zero-cost resources as materials available free of charge; takes effect July 1, 2026.
