• Makes school districts civilly liable for knowingly or recklessly violating parental rights policies, with minimum damages of $5,000 and potential treble damages if violation is proved by clear and convincing evidence.

• Prohibits students in kindergarten through grade three from attending classes or programs involving sexual matters, defined broadly to include human reproduction, sexuality, gender identity, sexual abuse prevention, and sex trafficking awareness.
