Establishes registered interior designer as a licensable profession regulated by the State Board of Registration for Architects, Engineers, and Land Surveyors, increasing board membership from 11 to 13 members to include one registered interior designer.

Requires persons practicing registered interior design to be registered or authorized by the board; exempts persons performing interior design services within the scope of another valid license or services not affecting public health, safety, or welfare.

Allows registered interior designers from other states with comparable requirements to obtain Alaska registration; requires examination in compliance with national standards.

Permits persons working as interior designers before July 1, 2025 to continue practicing without registration; allows current board-certified interior designers to continue occupying board seat until replaced by a registered interior designer.

Adds registered interior designers to state procurement requirements for architectural and engineering services; requires state and municipal contracts for interior design services to go to registered individuals or authorized firms.
