Establishes the "Alaska Child Access Prevention and Secure Storage of Firearms Act" to address firearm access by minors and prohibited persons.

Creates new offense of misconduct involving weapons in the sixth degree, a violation punishable by fine of not more than $1,000, for failing to secure firearms in locked containers or with gun locks when individuals under 18 years of age or prohibited persons can access them.

Adds criminal liability for violations of the secure storage law if an individual under 18 years of age or a prohibited person uses the unsecured firearm to commit a crime or injure themselves or another.

Defines "control" of a firearm as keeping it within proximity of the owner or authorized person to retrieve and use it while preventing unauthorized access.

Applies to offenses committed on or after the effective date of the Act.
