Official ballots must be printed in the United States on paper manufactured in the United States.

Voting machines and vote tally systems must be manufactured in the United States by a corporation owned or controlled by U.S. citizens, employing only U.S. citizens, and cannot employ or contract with individuals convicted of election-related felonies.

Director of elections must maintain a list of approved voting machines and vote tally systems and provide public notice at least 180 days before voting begins if intending to use them.

State residents have standing to sue in superior court to compel the director to comply with voting machine and tally system requirements.

Municipal governing bodies may use approved voting machines or vote tally systems for elections but must provide public notice at least 180 days before voting begins.
