Establishes liability for health care providers and students who perform pelvic examinations on anesthetized or unconscious patients without proper consent.

Requires consent to be obtained on a separate form with "CONSENT FOR EXAMINATION OF THE PELVIC REGION" printed at the top in not smaller than 20-point bold face type.

Mandates that the health care provider performing the examination (or supervising student) must have personal knowledge that the patient or patient's representative consented to the pelvic examination.

Applies to all pelvic examinations performed on or after the effective date of the Act.
