Requires the Department of Natural Resources division of geological and geophysical surveys to make Cook Inlet seismic survey and geophysical data available without charge to qualified persons.

Defines "qualified person" as an accredited domestic research institution, a person actively exploring for, developing, or producing oil, gas, or minerals in the state, or another person the department determines would serve the best interests of the state.

Exempts from disclosure data required to be kept confidential under AS 31.05.035(c) or AS 43.55.025(f), and well data from private land where the oil or gas resource owner has not provided permission to release publicly.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
