The Board of Game may establish annual big game hunting seasons in appropriate areas of the state specifically for persons with physical disabilities.

Participants in these disability hunting seasons must be accompanied by a hunter with a valid hunting license who is capable of retrieving game.

The legislature intends that nothing in this Act affects a municipality's existing authority to manage and control municipal land, including regulating the discharge of firearms.

The Board of Game may adopt regulations necessary to implement the Act, with regulations taking effect under the Administrative Procedure Act but not before January 1, 2025.

The Act takes effect January 1, 2025, except for the regulation adoption provision which takes effect immediately.
