Expands athletic trainer scope of practice to treat "individuals" rather than limiting services to "athletes," allowing athletic trainers to serve non-athlete populations.

Removes requirement that injuries or conditions be "sustained or exacerbated while participating in athletic or sport-related exercise or activity," broadening the types of conditions athletic trainers may address.

Adds "diagnosis" to the definition of athletic training services in AS 08.07.090(4).

Repeals AS 08.07.090(1) and 08.07.090(2), removing two definitions currently in statute related to athletic training.

Takes effect immediately upon passage.
